PRO-CATCHER-D is a next-generation solution designed to monitor the cellular environment and detect malicious base station emulation, including IMSI catchers and man-in-the-middle interception systems. With the growing availability and affordability of such technologies, the risk of cellular espionage has become a serious concern. Devices that mimic legitimate network operators can trace, locate, manipulate cellular services, and even intercept subscriber communications within ranges of tens or hundreds of meters.
