The Motorola APX 1000 is a mission-critical P25 Phase 2 TDMA portable radio engineered to deliver high reliability, excellent audio performance, and durable design in a compact form. Designed for public safety, utilities, and government operations, the APX 1000 combines essential communication features with rugged construction and simplified controls, enabling first responders and personnel in challenging environments to stay connected with clarity and confidence.
It supports backwards and forwards compatibility with ASTRO® 25 systems, offering efficient voice capacity without requiring additional frequencies or infrastructure. With multiple bands available, intuitive user interface elements like full-size keypads, color display, dual-microphones, and intelligent lighting, it is built for effective use in high-noise, harsh, or mission-critical conditions.
